Welcome to Treasure Maze, I'm so glad that you stopped by. For me writing is as much a part of me as breathing or sleeping. My short story for this contest is a modern woman in a world of prejudice and expectation. A woman in tune with herself and her sexuality.
I've spent a lot of time working with my characters, learning their history, their stories, and weaving their story together. History was rife with stories of love, of romance, deception and more. What better way to reveal this than write something featuring a woman who's got the power to be herself, to accept her sexual needs.
Amy is a young widow who has been in love with her husband's brother for years - but she's been unable to do anything about it. When she gets the chance to take what she wants, she's strong enough to reach out and grab it.
